My Story
Thank you for stopping by to learn more about myself, the reasons why I do what I do and why I am loving the journey becoming an Independent Scentsy Consultant has taken me on. I am married to the love of my life, a mother of 3 amazing teenaged+ children (17,21.23) and I suffer from anxiety. I desperatly wanted to contribute to my family financially, but even simple tasks like going to the grocery store alone became an issue leading me to quit the job I had and enjoyed... After being introduced to the amazing products Scentsy has to offer at a vendor's event in the summer of 2012, I instantly fell in love with their simplicity, their beauty, wide variety of scents and overall the safety using the products offered. Being unable to afford a system at that time, it was decided that I needed to host a party because I really wanted on of those warmers!! I hosted a party and quickly became a Scentsy addict. I needed to find a way that I could fill my addiction without taking away from my family.... My Scentsy journey began April 10th 2013, after 3 days of self doubt, my hands shaking while filling out the forms to join, entering the payment information and the NOT hitting the submit button. What was I afraid of?, I only planned on it being a hobby, selling to my very close friends and family in hopes to earn a little bit of money to purchase the items I needed and wanted. I decided anixety and self doubt were not going to win this time, I sat down filled out the forms, entered the payment information and hit the submit button I was afraid to hit for the prior 3 days. A decision I will never regret! Fast forwarding to today, my Scentsy journey is nothing short of a life changing experience. Anxiety never truly goes away, but I have grown so much on a personal level during this journey that I learned to supress it, taking my love for all things Scentsy and turning it into a business rather then the hobby it was planned to be. I am finally able to contribute financially to my family ! Along my journey I have met so many amazing and supportive people that I would not have met otherwise. I have built a team ("Inspirational Butterflies") of incredible ladies and gentlemen, who all have their own reasons for joing, but no matter what their reasons, we support, encourage, and inspire each other to reach our goals and fulfill our dreams. In just over 2.5 years as a Scentsy Consultant I have promoted to Director, and have recently earned my 3rd all expense paid vacation (las Vegas, Cozumel, and Nashville). Las Vegas was my first time to travel (and fly) and I was scared to death, but I pushed beyond my fears and guess what I ended up having the time of my life!, thanks to the support of my family, friends and countless members of my Scentsy family xo. I cannot wait to see what adventures lie ahead in my Scentsy journey..
